The session commenced on the 16th December 2004 and was adjourned sine die on the 22nd December 2004 after holding twelve sittings. The House was expected to sit for 17 hours and 30 minutes whereas; the actual utilization of floor time worked out to 22 hours and 31 minutes. The House lost one Hour and 14 minutes of the floor time to interruptions and disturbances. A brief summary of the various business disposed by the House during the session is as follows: -

QUESTIONS: Two hundred questions were admitted as starred and 275 as unstarred. 14 starred questions were actually raised in the House and replied by the concerned Ministers. Sixty-eight supplementary questions were asked on these starred questions.
PAPERS LAID ON THE TABLE: The Chief Minister and other Ministers laid 31 documents/notifications pertaining to their departments during the session.

LEGISLATIVE PROPOSALS: The House considered and passed the following legislative proposals:
SPECIAL MENTION (Under Rule 280): Fifty-one matters were allowed to be raised in the House and in the case of ten matters the Chief Minister and Ministers replied on the floor of the House keeping in view the importance of the issue.
SHORT DURATION DISCUSSION: Short Duration Discussion was held on the following subjects:

PRIVATE MEMBERS RESOLUTIONS: The following resolution was adopted by the House on the 17th December 2004: “This House resolves that the Municipal Corporation of Delhi be trifurcated for the benefit of people of Delhi.”
The House was adjourned sine-die on the 22nd December 2004 with the rendering of the National Anthem (Jana Gana Mana)
