| Session at a Glance |
Normally, three sessions of the Legislative Assembly are held in a year as follows:
| Budget Session | March/April |
| Monsoon Session | August/September |
| Winter Session | November/December |
However there have also been instances of the Assembly sitting to dispose of emergent issues in between these periods. It is also mandatory that six months shall not intervene between its last sitting in one session and first sitting in the next session.
