Smt. Sheila Dikshit, Chief Minister moved that "The Delhi Technological University" Bill-2009" introduced on 29th June, 2009 be taken into consideration.

The Bill was considered clause wise.

Chief Minister also moved that " The Delhi Technological University" Bill-2009" be passed.

The Chair informed that Hon'ble Lt. Governor has shown his appreciation for the Motion of Thanks passed by the House on 18th June, 2009.

Motion Under Rule 107: Issue of request for an amendment in the section 13(4) of Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi Act, 1991; making quorum requirement one fourth in place of one third so that precious floor time could be saved to discuss the problems of the people of Delhi". Some Members of the Bhartiya Janta Party stand up their seat and raised objections; causing disturbance to the proceedings of the House.

 Chief Minister intervened into the matter.

Members of Opposition Party walked out from the House.

Shri Kanwar Karan Singh moved the following motion:

"This House recommends amendment in the section 13(4) of Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi Act, 1991; making quorum requirement one fourth in place of one third so that precious floor time could be saved to discuss the problems of the people of Delhi."
